Auckland’s economic and cultural agency is committed to making the region a desirable place to live, work, visit, invest, and do business. They work closely with partners to grow Auckland’s innovation culture, support emerging businesses and key industries, and attract foreign direct investment, international events, and visitors from around the world.
Tātaki Auckland Unlimited brings to life some of the region’s most beloved arts, cultural, conservation, sports, and heritage experiences. Our portfolio includes Auckland Live, Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki, Auckland Zoo, and the New Zealand Maritime Museum. As New Zealand’s largest conventions operator, they collaborate with Auckland’s performing arts and sporting communities to deliver unforgettable experiences across a network of managed theatres and stadia.
During my time at the organisation, I led website analytics for over 10 websites, managing tagging, GA4 migration, and Looker Studio dashboard reporting.
Using these insights, we developed multi-channel digital marketing strategies and delivered comprehensive end-of-campaign performance reports.
Work was also done in the response to COVID-19 recovery, a $25.5 million support package was developed with the help of Auckland Council and Tātaki Auckland Unlimited, providing targeted support for Auckland’s events, attractions, facilities, cultural venues, and programmes to help revive economic, social, and cultural activity.
Additionally, I led commercial venue hire and live event digital marketing before moving on to the major events portfolio, where I supported owned events, event bids, and investment cases to help drive Auckland’s global positioning.
